Chevrolet Sonic oil reset procedure for the year 2012.
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
2. Press the DIC menu button on the turn signal lever to enter the menu.
3. Use the thumbwheel to scroll through the options until you reach “REMAINING OIL LIFE”.
4. Press the “SET/CLR” button to reset to 100%.
5. Select “YES”

Since 2011, the Chevrolet Aveo has been sold as the Chevrolet Sonic in North America and parts of Asia (Chevrolet, Daewoo, ZAZ, Holden, Pontiac, Ravon and Suzuki). Production of the second generation Sonic, which was also known as the Aveo and started with the 2012 model year and continued until October 2020, came to a conclusion in 2020.

The 2020 Chevrolet Sonic is offered in two different body designs, namely a sedan and a hatchback, in addition to its three different trim levels (LS, LT, and Premier). All of the vehicles come standard with a front-wheel drive configuration, a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine, and a six-speed automated transmission.
Although the base model comes with a respectable number of features, it is missing several essential conveniences such as power windows and cruise control. As a result, the LT trim will appeal to the vast majority of customers.
Only the sedan body style is offered for the lowest trim level. Standard equipment includes cloth upholstery, a rearview camera, an infotainment system with a 7-inch touch screen, a four-speaker stereo, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, USB ports, and a Wi-Fi hot spot, and a Wi-Fi hot spot is also included.
