About Chevrolet Silverado 3500
The HD model was a heavy-duty version of the regular light truck. It was a more robust version of the light-duty Silverado and Sierra, and it was offered in three different model variants: the 1500HD, the 2500HD, and the 3500HD. When it was first released in 2000, the 1500HD was available with a Vortec 6000 V8 engine that produced 300 horsepower (224 kW) at 5200 revolutions per minute (rpm), 360 pound-feet (488 Nm) of torque at 4000 rpm, and a Hydra-Matic 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission. There was also the LB7 Duramax V8, which produced 300 horsepower (224 kW) at 3100 rpm and 520 pound-feet (705 Nm) of torque at 1800 rpm. A brand new limited edition of the GMC Sierra Professional was released in the year 2002.
