1. Place the recognized transmitter(s) in the cupholder.

2. Insert the vehicle key of the new transmitter into the key lock cylinder located on the outside of the driver door and turn the key to the unlock position five times within ten seconds. The Driver Information Center (DIC) displays READY TO LEARN ELECTRONIC KEY #2, 3, 4, ETC.

3. Place the new transmitter into the transmitter pocket. The transmitter pocket is inside the center console storage area located between the driver and front passenger seats. About Cadillac Escalade

If you’re seeking for a used SUV with commanding power, ample passenger room, and a pampered interior, the 2014 Cadillac Escalade has it all. We chose the Escalade as a nominee for our 2014 Best Luxury Large SUV for Families award because to its compelling combination of comfortable seating and standard technologies.

The 2014 Escalade is powered by a powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine and a six-speed automated transmission. At 14 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway, the fuel economy is about average for a luxury big SUV. While the Escalade is a truck-based SUV, the ride is quite smooth and calm, and the brakes are robust. Due to the Escalade’s size and weight, it can be difficult to maneuver, especially in confined places. Additionally, it is prone to nose dive under hard braking.

Inside, the majority of the materials are of the highest quality; leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated second-row seats pamper you and your passengers. The Escalade accommodates seven passengers in its basic configuration and includes second-row bucket seats. Certain variants seat eight and include a second-row bench seat in place of the bucket seats. Due to the Escalade’s unusual height, certain individuals may have difficulty climbing inside. Additionally, the third-row seat is somewhat cramped. The Escalade ESV’s extra-long wheelbase tackles the latter issue slightly by increasing third-row legroom from 25.6 to 34.9 inches. Two upper tether anchors (three with the optional bench seat) and two sets of lower anchors are provided to secure child safety seats in the second row. In the third row, there is an additional tether anchor. The 2014 Escalade has the most cargo space in its class, but you must remove the third row seats to maximize luggage space.
