Simple to follow oil reset procedure for Saab 9-3 for the year 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Oil Reset Procedure for Saab 9-3 for the year 1999 through 2002
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
2. Press the “CLR” button and then press and hold “CLR” button for at least 8 seconds until “SERVICE” is displayed and a chime is heard.
3. Turn ignition off.
Oil Reset Procedure for Saab 9-3 for the year 2003
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
2. Press the “CUSTOMIZE” button. Using the “INFO” dial, choose the “SYSTEM SETTINGS” and press the “INFO” dial.
3. Select “SERVICE INFO” and press “INFO” dial.
4. Select “RESET SERVICE IND” and press the “INFO” dial.
5. When asked “ARE YOU SURE?”, select “YES”.
6. Turn ignition off.

2. Press the “CUSTOMIZE” button. Using the “INFO” dial, choose the “SYSTEM SETTINGS” and press the “INFO” dial.

4. Select “RESET SERVICE IND” and press the “INFO” dial.
5. When asked “ARE YOU SURE?”, select “YES”.
6. Turn ignition off.

About Saab 9-3
The Saab 9-3 (pronounced “nine-three”) is a compact executive car designed and built by the Swedish automaker Saab.
The first generation 9-3 (1998–2003) was built on the GM2900 platform, which was replaced by the GM Epsilon platform with the introduction of the second generation car (2003-2012). This platform is also used by the Opel Vectra, Chevrolet Malibu, and Cadillac BLS.
