About Ford E-250
An auxiliary audio input jack is now standard equipment on the 2012 Ford E-250; however, Steel Blue Metallic paint and new 16-inch cast-aluminum wheels are now available as optional upgrades. Other than those two changes, the 2012 Ford E-250 is identical to the model from the previous year.
The E-250 is well-suited for either construction work or transporting large groups of people. All E-250s have rear cargo doors that can be held open at either 105 degrees or an extra-wide 178 degrees. These doors come standard on all models. Additionally standard is something known as “double-wall construction,” which makes the walls of the E-250 significantly thicker than those of competing vans.
The E-250’s workhorse V-8 engines are a significant contributor to the vehicle’s allure. Buyers have the option of going with either a 4.6-liter V-8 that generates 225 horsepower or a 5.4-liter V-8 that generates 255 horsepower. Both motors are attached to a single automatic transmission that has four gears.
In addition, Ford provides a plethora of optional features that are certain to come in handy on the job site. The Crew Chief system from Ford is available as an option for the E-250, and it gives fleet managers the ability to remotely monitor vehicle statistics and maintenance records as well as dispatch drivers. It is anticipated that the Sirius Traffic and Travel link as well as SYNC will make it possible for drivers to communicate safely while on the move and navigate heavy traffic.
An auxiliary audio input jack is now included as standard equipment for all trim levels of the 2012 Ford E-250. This change was made for the 2012 model year. Steel Blue Metallic is the name of the new exterior color that will be available for the Ford van in the year 2012. Cast-aluminum wheels measuring 16 inches have been added as a new optional extra. A new dual-battery system has also been installed in the E-250 Commercial Van and E-250 Commercial Van Extended, taking the place of the previous auxiliary battery configuration.
