About Chevrolet Silverado 2500
GMC released the Sierra All Terrain X in 2016, which features a 5.3-liter V8 engine with performance exhaust, raising power from 355 to 365 horsepower. The Sierra All Terrain X has black 18-inch wheels with larger 265/65R18SL Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac MT tires, a black bed-mounted sport bar, LED off-road lighting, and blacked-out elements on the outside.
Following the introduction of the Sierra 1500 All Terrain X full-size truck and the Canyon All Terrain X small pickup, GMC applied the same formula to its heavy-duty pickup lineup with the Sierra HD All Terrain X in 2017.
Sierra 2500 HD crew cab vehicles with four-wheel drive are available in either Black Onyx or Summit White exterior colors.
All Terrain X models include a body-color grille surround and an All Terrain-exclusive grille insert. It has a homogenous appearance thanks to body color door handles, front and rear bumpers, and bodyside moldings, as well as black details such as belt moldings, front bumper skid plate, and B-pillar accents.
Sierra HD All Terrain X models also come with eighteen-inch black-painted aluminum wheels with LT275/65R18 Goodyear Duratrac MT tires, four-inch black sport side steps, black heated and power-folding trailering mirrors with integrated turn signals and LED guidance lamps, a spray-on bedliner, and a black bed-mounted sport bar designed to support available GMC Accessories LED off-road driving lamps.
GMC IntelliLink with an 8-inch diagonal color touchscreen, Teen Driver, remote-locking tailgate, remote starting system, Rear Vision Camera, adjustable pedals, leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, and wireless mobile device charging are standard on the 2017 Sierra 2500 HD All Terrain X.
The normal engine is a 6.0-liter gasoline engine, although a 6.6-liter Duramax Diesel turbo-diesel V-8 is also available. This engine produces 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque.
The Z71 off-road suspension package, which includes front underbody and transfer case skid plates, twin-tube Rancho shocks, hill descent control, and off-road information graphics in the Driver Information Center, is also included with the Sierra HD All Terrain X. A 4.10:1 Eaton automatically locking rear differential is also standard.
