Simple to follow oil reset procedure for Chevrolet Impala Limited for the year 2014 and 2015.

 

 

 

Chevrolet Impala Limited oil reset procedure for the year 2014.

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.

2. Display “OIL LIFE REMAINING” on the DIC.

3. Press and hold “SET/RESET” button on the DIC for more than 5 seconds.

4. Oil life will reset to 100%.

5. Turn ignition off.

6. Alternative method is to turn ignition to “RUN” position and press and release accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.

7. Turn ignition off.

 

Or you can also try this procedure.

1. Turn the ignition to the “RUN” position.

2. Display “OIL LIFE REMAINING” on the DIC.

3. Press and hold the “SET/RESET” button for more than 5 seconds.

4. Oil life will reset to 100%.

5. Turn the ignition off.

OR

1. Turn the ignition to “RUN” position.

2. Press and release accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.

3. Turn the ignition off.

The mainstream front-wheel drive version of the Impala was reintroduced to the market in the year 2000. According to the rankings provided by U.S. News & World Report as of the month of February 2014, the 2014 Impala held the top spot in the category of Affordable Large Cars. When the 10th generation of the Impala was released for the 2014 model year, the 9th generation was rebadged as the Impala Limited and sold only to fleet customers through the end of the 2016 model year. GM was celebrating their 50th year of production in 1958 by introducing anniversary models for each of their brands: Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, and Chevrolet. The Cadillac Eldorado Seville, Buick Limited Riviera, Oldsmobile Starfire 98, Pontiac Bonneville Catalina, and Chevrolet Bel-Air Impala all shared a common appearance in 1958.

For the 1958 model year, the Impala was introduced as top-of-the-line Bel Air 2-door hardtops and convertibles. The 1958 Bel Air Impala differed structurally from the lower-priced Chevrolet models from the windshield (A) pillar backward. The greenhouse on hardtops was slightly shorter and the rear deck was slightly longer. The Impala had a longer wheelbase than the lower-priced models, despite having the same overall length. The interiors featured a two-spoke steering wheel as well as color-keyed door panels with brushed aluminum trim. There was no convertible in any other series.
