Oil Reset Procedure for Chevrolet Impala 1995-2015
Simple to follow oil reset procedure for Chevrolet Impala for the year 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 199, 2000, 2002, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Chevrolet Impala oil reset procedure for the year 1995 thorugh 1996.
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position and immediately press and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
2. If “CHANGE ENGINE OIL” light does not go out, turn off the ignition and repeat
Chevrolet Impala oil reset procedure for the year 2000 thorugh 2004.
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position and immediately press and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
2. If “CHANGE ENGINE OIL” light does not go out, turn off the ignition and repeat.
Chevrolet Impala oil reset procedure for the year 2005 thorugh 2006.
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position and immediately press and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
2. If “CHANGE ENGINE OIL” light does not go out, turn off the ignition and repeat.
Chevrolet Impala oil reset procedure for the year 2007 thorugh 2011.
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position. Display “OIL LIFE REMAINING” on the DIC.
2. Press and hold “SET/ RESET” button on the DIC for more than 5 seconds.
3. Oil life will reset to 100%.
4. Turn ignition off.
Chevrolet Impala oil reset procedure for the year 2007 thorugh 2009.
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
2. Display “OIL LIFE REMAINING” on the DIC. Press and hold “SET/ RESET” button on the DIC for more than 5 seconds.
3. Oil life will reset to 100%.
4. Turn ignition off.

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
2. Display “OIL LIFE REMAINING” on the DIC.
3. Press and hold “SET/ RESET” button on the DIC for more than 5 seconds.
4. Oil life will reset to 100%.
5. Turn ignition off.

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position. Display “OIL LIFE REMAINING” on the DIC.
2. Press and hold “SET/RESET” button on the DIC for more than 5 seconds.
3. Oil life will reset to 100%. Turn ignition off.
4. Alternative method is to turn ignition to “RUN” position and press and release accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
5. Turn ignition off.

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position. Display “OIL LIFE REMAINING” on the DIC.
2. Press and hold “SET/RESET” button on the DIC for more than 5 seconds.
3. Oil life will reset to 100%. Turn ignition off.
4. Alternative method is to turn ignition to “RUN” position and press and release accelerator pedal 3
times within 5 seconds.
5. Turn ignition off.
