Easy to follow oil reset procedure for Cadillac Eldorado 1993, 1994, 1995, 1006, 1997, 1998, 1999, 200, 2001 and 2002.
Cadillac Eldorado oil reset procedure for the year 1993 through 1997.
With DIC:
1. Turn ignition to the “ON” position.
2. Push info button until “OIL LIFE” is displayed.
3. Press and hold “CLR” or “RESET” button until “100%” is displayed.
With navigation system:
1. With engine running, press “PWR/VOL” button.
2. Press and hold “INFO” until information menu is entered.
3. Select ENGINE OIL LIFE.
4. Press and hold “RESET” button until “100%” is displayed.

With DIC:
1. Turn ignition to “RUN” position.
2. Press the “TRIP” button until “OIL LIFE REMAINING” is displayed.
3. Press and hold “RESET” until “100%” is displayed.
4. Turn ignition off.

About Cadillac Eldorado
The Cadillac Eldorado is a premium automobile that has been produced and marketed by Cadillac over the course of twelve generations beginning in 1952 and continuing until 2002.
The Eldorado was either the pinnacle of Cadillac’s offering or very close to it. The first Eldorado convertible was introduced in 1953, and the Eldorado Brougham versions that were produced from 1957 to 1960 were the most costly models that Cadillac provided during those years. Both of these vehicles had distinctive bodyshells. Until 1966, the Eldorado was never priced lower than second place, which was always behind the Cadillac Series 75 limousine. Beginning in 1967, the Eldorado continued to have a premium place within the Cadillac price structure, despite the fact that it was now manufactured in great amounts on a distinct personal luxury car platform with only two doors.
The Eldorado was a modern resurrection of the pre-war Cadillac V-12 and Cadillac V-16 roadsters and convertibles, and it held the Fleetwood label from 1965 until 1972. It was the first model in the Cadillac lineup to use a nameplate rather than the Series model descriptions used in the past.
General Motors introduced three top-of-the-line, limited-production specialty convertibles in 1953: the Oldsmobile 98 Fiesta, the Buick Roadmaster Skylark, and the Cadillac Series 62 Eldorado. The goal was to demonstrate that General Motors was the industry leader in terms of design. It was the production version of the “Golden Anniversary” concept car that was shown in 1952 by El Dorado and it was a special-bodied, low-production convertible with a total production of 532 units. Along with borrowing bumper bullets from the 1951 GM Le Sabre show car, it featured a full assortment of deluxe accessories and was the first Cadillac standard production model to feature a wraparound windshield and a cut-down beltline.
