Simple to follow oil reset procedure for Saturn Outlook for the year 2007, 2008 through 2009.

 

 

 

Oil Reset Procedure for Saturn Outlook for the year 2007 through 2009.

Without DIC:

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position. Press the trip odmeter reset stem until “OIL LIFE REMAINING” is displayed.

2. Press and hold trip odemeter reset stem until “OIL LIFE REMAINING” shows 100% and 3 chimes are heard.

3. The “CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON” message will no longer be displayed.

4. Turn ignition off.

With DIC:

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.

2. Press the square button until “OIL LIFE REMAINING” is displayed.

3. Press and hold the “SET/RESET” button until “100%” is displayed, and 3 chimes are heard.

4. Turn ignition off.

About Saturn Outlook

The Saturn Outlook is a full-size crossover SUV that debuted at the New York International Auto Show. It is based on the GM Lambda platform, which the Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, and GMC Acadia share. The Outlook was introduced in 2006 as a 2007 model. The Outlook was the least expensive of GM’s Lambda crossover SUVs, priced below the GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave. Following the introduction of the Traverse for the 2009 model year and the demise of the Outlook, along with the entire Saturn brand, in 2010, the Chevrolet Traverse would eventually take the place of the Outlook as the family-oriented model, with the 2010 model year being the Outlook’s final model year. After the 2010 model year, Saturn discontinued the Outlook.

The Outlook, like the other Lambda-based vehicles, was constructed at the Delta Township Assembly plant near Lansing, Michigan. The Saturn Outlook and its twin, the GMC Acadia, went into production on May 24, 2006, for the 2007 model year. (Source: Wiki)
