About Saturn L300 Series Sedan
The Saturn L-series was a line of automobiles manufactured by General Motors’ Saturn division.
In 2000, the L-series mid-size sedans and station wagons were introduced. They were based on the Opel Vectra B and built at a General Motors plant in Wilmington, Delaware. The L-series was offered with both I4 and V6 engines.
Due to poor sales of the L-series, GM decided to discontinue production in 2005. The first L-series vehicle was produced in May 1999, and the last one rolled off the Wilmington assembly line on June 17, 2004, following a brief run of 2005 models. During this time, approximately 406,300 L-series vehicles were produced. After that, the plant was retooled to produce the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky roadster. (Source: Wiki)
