About Pontiac Bonneville

The Pontiac Bonneville is a car manufactured by Pontiac from 1957 to 2005. With the exception of a brief period of mid-size between 1982 and 1986, Bonnevilles were full-sized. During the 1957 model year, the brand was introduced as a limited production performance convertible. The Bonneville (known as the Parisienne in Canada until 1981) and its platform partner, the Grand Ville, are among the largest Pontiacs ever built; in station wagon body styles, they reached just over 230 inches (5.8 m) in length, and at 5,000 pounds (2,300 kg) or more, they were also among the heaviest cars produced at the time.
