Oil Reset Procedure for Mazda 6 for the year 2013
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
2. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” part of the “INFO” switch to highlight “SETTINGS” and press “INFO”.
3. Scroll to “MAINTENANCE” and press “INFO”.
4. Scroll to “SCHEDULED” and press “INFO”.
5. Choose “SET TIME” or “SET DISTANCE” and press “INFO”.
6. Turn ignition off.
Oil Reset Procedure for Mazda 6 for the year 2014 through 2015
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
2. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” part of the “INFO” switch to highlight “SETTINGS” and press “INFO”.
3. Scroll to “MAINTENANCE” and press “INFO”.
4. Scroll to “SCHEDULED” and press “INFO”.
5. Choose “SET TIME” or “SET DISTANCE” and press “INFO”.
6. Turn ignition off.
Oil Reset Procedure for Mazda 6 for the year 2002 through 2020
1. Turn the ignition key to “ON” position without starting the engine, If your vehicle has a Smart key button, press the “Start” button twice without touching the brake pedal.
2. Select APPLICATION on the center dash screen to enter to the menu.
3. Select MAINTENANCE > SCHEDULED –Resets the time and distance to the initial values. Once the system turns on, it needs to be reset whenever carrying out maintenance.
Select MAINTENANCE > OIL CHANGE –Resets the remaining distance to the initial value. Once the system turns on, it needs to be reset whenever replacing the engine oil.
Select MAINTENANCE > TIRE ROTATION – Resets the remaining distance to the initial value. Once the system turns on, it needs to be reset whenever rotating the tyres.
4. Select RESET and select “YES” to confirm
5. Turn Ignition OFF. Maintenance Reset is complete.
Or you can also try this procedure;
1. Press and hold the TRIP BUTTON with the ignition switched off, then switch it on. Keep pressing the selector for more than 5 seconds.
2. The master warning light will flash for a few seconds when the reset is completed.
Oil Reset Procedure for Mazda 6 for the year 2016 through 2021
1. Turn on your car
Hit the START button twice until everything lights up
2. Press the HOME button
Hit the HOME button on the center console to bring you to the main menu
3. Go to the APPLICATION
Scroll over to APPLICATION and pull that up
4. Select VEHICLE STATUS MONITOR
Ggo down and select the VEHICLE STATUS MONITOR
5. Find the MAINTENANCE
Scroll down again to MAINTENANCE and get in
6. Select SCHEDULED or OIL CHANGE
From here you can enable and disable the scheduled maintenance and the tire rotation as far as the oil change. So we’re going to go into there and go down to RESET
7. Adjust the interval or reset it
Adjust the interval to whatever you want or just reset it. When you select reset it asks you to reset, select RESET to confirm it
