Oil Reset Procedure for Lexus LS 460 for the year 2007
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
2. Press the “TRIP METER” switch until the trip meter “A” is displayed.
3. Turn ignition off. While holding the “TRIP METER RESET” button, turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
4. Hold down button until display indicates that the reset is complete.
5. Turn ignition off.
Oil Reset Procedure for Lexus LS 460 for the year 2008 through 2012
1. Turn the engine on.
2. Use the trip meter switch to bring up the trip meter A reading.
3. Turn the ignition off.
4. While pressing the trip meter reset button, set the engine switch to run (push START/ STOP button once) and continue to press and hold the knob until the multi information display indicates that the reset is complete.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1. With the engine running, press the “TRIP METER” switch until the trip meter “A” is displayed.
2. Turn ignition off.
3. While holding the “TRIP METER RESET” button, turn ignition to the “RUN” position (press the “START/STOP” button once).
4. Hold down button until “RESETTING OIL MAINTENANCE DATA” is displayed.
5. Turn ignition off.

About Lexus LS 460
LS 460 cabin of the fourth generation, from 2006 to 2009. (USF40) The cabin of the LS 460 was upgraded to include a start button, a thin-film transistor instrument display, and numerous luxury options. These options ranged from a hard disk drive-based GPS navigation system and song library to a heated steering wheel and XM NavTraffic. Additionally, the LS 460 received a push-button start. Leather upholstery, a premium sound system, a power moonroof, and a trunk pass-through were all included as standard features.
Late in 2006, the LS 460 and LS 460 L were introduced to dealerships in Japan, the United States of America, and Europe. The following year, in 2007, the vehicle was made available in Australia, East Asia, and the Middle East. The LS 460 and LS 460 L both had starting prices in the United States of $61,000 and $71,000, respectively, for the model year 2007. In 2006 and 2007, the average price paid for LS 460 L sedans sold in the United States market exceeded US$80,000. This increase in price was largely attributable to the addition of option packages, and it was the first time that the Lexus LS was priced in the same average range as its long-wheelbase Audi, BMW, and Jaguar competitors.
