Oil Reset Procedure for Lexus GS 450H 2007-2015
Simple to follow oil reset procedure for Lexus GS 450H 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Lexus GS 450H oil reset procedure for the year 2007
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
2. Press the “DISP” button until the display is blank.
3. Turn ignition off.
4. Press and hold the “TRIP METER RESET” button, and turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
5. Continue to hold button for more than 7 seconds.
6. The light will illuminate and a chime will sound and “OIL MILEAGE RESET” will be displayed.
7. Release button and turn ignition off.
Lexus GS 450H oil reset procedure for the year 2008 through 2011
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position (press “START/STOP” button once).
2. Press the “DISP” button until the display is blank.
3. Turn ignition off.
4. Press and hold the “TRIP METER RESET” button, and turn ignition to the “RUN” position (press “START/STOP”button once).
5. Continue to hold button for more than 7 seconds.
6. The light will illuminate and a chime will sound and “OIL MILEAGE RESET” will be displayed.
7. After 5 seconds, system is reset.
8. Release button and turn ignition off.

1. With the engine running, display “TRIP METER A”,then turn ignition off.
2. Press and hold the “ODO TRIP” button and turn the ignition to the “RUN” position.
3. “RESETTING OIL MAINTENANCE DATA” will be displayed.
4. Continue to hold the button until “000000” is displayed.
5. Turn ignition off.

1. Turn on your car without starting
Hit the start button twice with foot off the brake pedal
2. Ensure you’re in TRIP A
Look at your cluster and make sure it’s set to the TRIP A, and in order to cycle through all you do is just hit the ODO/TRIP button
3. Turn off the car
Then once you get it to TRIP A go ahead and hit the start button once turn everything off
4. Hold down the ODO/TRIP button while turn on the car again
Next, what you’re going to do is you’re going to hold down the ODO/TRIP button you’re going to keep that held down while simultaneously pressing the start button twice
5. Keep hold the ODO/TRIP button
Continue to hold down the ODO/TRIP button and as you can see it’s saying resetting maintenance data

1. With the engine running, display “TRIP METER A”,then turn ignition off.
2. Press and hold the “ODO TRIP” button and turn the ignition to the “RUN” position.
3. “RESETTING OIL MAINTENANCE DATA” will be displayed.
4. Continue to hold the button until “000000” is displayed.
5. Turn ignition off.
About Lexus GS 450H
It was in 1993 when sales of the first generation of the Lexus GS began in the United States, Europe, and selected markets in Asia. At that time, the vehicle was introduced with an inline-6 engine, and Italdesign Giugiaro was responsible for designing the exterior bodywork. 1997 marked the debut of the second generation of the model, which featured a newly designed platform, in-house styling, and the introduction of a V8 engine for the first time in markets other than Japan. The third generation of the GS debuted everywhere in the world for the 2006 model year, and it was available in V6, V8, and hybrid configurations, the latter of which was referred to as the GS 450h. The third generation of models was the first to be badged as GS sedans in Japan’s domestic market, and they were sedans of the GS designation.
