About Cadillac Escalade ESV
For nearly 25 years, the Escalade’s size, luxury, and power have made it a popular choice for people looking for a large and capable premium SUV. Cadillac’s flagship SUV is versatile enough to transport a large family in comfort while also towing a heavy load (up to 8,000 pounds). The Cadillac Escalade ESV 2022 is longer than the standard Escalade. Its extra 15.1 inches of length provides 41.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, compared to 25.5 cubic feet in the regular Escalade. It also has a little more legroom in the third row.
For the 2021 model year, Cadillac redesigned the Escalade lineup. Cadillac crammed it full of technology and advanced driver aids, as well as a smoother-riding independent rear suspension that helped to increase passenger and cargo space. Cadillac added more standard advanced driver aids and a new Touring package for 2022. Adaptive cruise control, upgraded automatic emergency braking, and rear automatic braking are now standard on Premium Luxury and Sport trims.
The Escalade ESV is an appealing option for a large and powerful premium SUV, but it is not alone in this segment. Its direct competitor, the Lincoln Navigator L, is highly regarded and was recently updated for 2022. Jeep is also planning to release an extended-length Grand Wagoneer for the 2023 model year. The Escalade ESV, on the other hand, should be at the top of your list if you’re looking for a large, high-tech luxury SUV with a commanding presence and a large V8 or turbodiesel engine.
