About AUDI RS7
The Audi RS7 is a largemouth high-performance hatchback sedan with swollen fenders and a spacious interior that is chock full of the luxuries and high-tech gear you’d expect to find in a super-sedan. It has a large mouth and a hatchback body style. All-wheel drive is standard, and the engine that delivers the thrills is a twin-turbocharged V-8 producing 591 horsepower and mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The RS7 weighs close to 5000 pounds, but despite its size, it steers and handles with a surprising degree of dexterity thanks to its rear-wheel steering system and excellent suspension.
If you feel that this amount of horsepower is excessive, there is always the 444-horsepower S7. Because it is a hatchback, the RS7 provides exceptional levels of comfort and is even more practical than other vehicles. However, despite the fact that the RS7’s acceleration puts it in the same league as other mega-sedans like the BMW M5 Competition and the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, the experience of driving the RS7 is less visceral than driving either the big Bimmer or the killer Caddy.
The 2023 RS7 does not receive any significant updates from Audi, but the optional Executive package now comes standard with remote park assist plus and a black Dinamica headliner.
Audi makes this process simple by offering only one model of the RS7, and that model comes exceptionally well-equipped with features such as all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, and an adjustable air suspension system. Consider purchasing the Black Optics package if you want your car to have the most amount of insanity possible. This add-on includes darkened exterior trim as well as giant 22-inch wheels fitted with summer performance tires. A sport exhaust is something you should get if you want the best sound from your V-8 engine.
A brilliant twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 provides the power for this vehicle, which also features a 48-volt hybrid system, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and Quattro all-wheel drive. Because of all this technology, the RS7 is heavier than the model it replaces, which was capable of producing 605 horsepower at its peak. In spite of this, the RS7 we tested reached 60 miles per hour in just 3.0 seconds, despite having 591 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. In comparison, the BMW M5 Competition has 617 horsepower and can reach 60 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds. The RS7 utilizes an air suspension system that has adjustable settings to accommodate a range of different levels of stiffness. Nevertheless, it exuded an air of sophistication regardless of the drive mode that was selected, even when rolling on the 22-inch wheels of our test vehicle (21s are standard).
