Easy to follow procedure for Audi R8 oil reset for the year 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
From the year 2008 to 2015
- Start engine.
- Press the CAR button to access the service menu.
- Select CAR SYSTEMS.
- Select SERVICE INTERVALS.
- Select RESET OIL INTERVAL and confirm.
- Turn off ignition.

From the year 2006 to 2015
- Place the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine
If your vehicle has the keyless starting system, press the ENGINE START/STOP button without pressing the brake pedal - Pull the knob once to enter the reset mode
The button is located on the instrument cluster - Pull and hold the knob until —- appears on the screen
Pull up the knob for several seconds - Verify the indicator has been reset by starting the engine
From the year 2016 to 2021
- Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
- Press the MENU button on the center console
- Select VEHICLE by using the dial control
- Press the left control button
- Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
- Press the MENU button on the center console
- Select VEHICLE by using the dial control
- Press the left control button
About AUDI R8
The Audi R8 is a two-seater mid-engine sports car that utilizes the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system that has become Audi’s signature feature. Audi AG, a German automobile manufacturer, first presented it to the public in the year 2006.
The vehicle is designed, developed, and manufactured solely by Audi Sport GmbH (formerly known as quattro GmbH), a wholly owned subsidiary of Audi AG that specializes in the production of high-performance automotive components. The vehicle is based on the platform used by the Lamborghini Gallardo and is currently being used by the Huracán. The R8 utilizes an aluminum monocoque that is constructed using space frame principles. The R8’s fundamental construction is based on the Audi Space Frame, which was designed and developed by Audi. The automobile is manufactured by Audi Sport GmbH in a factory that has recently undergone renovations at Audi’s “aluminium site” in Neckarsulm, located in Germany.
It is also the first production car to have headlamps that are made entirely of LEDs.
The Audi R8, which was initially introduced at the 2003 International Geneva Motor Show as well as the 2003 Frankfurt International Motor Show, was derived from the Audi Le Mans quattro concept car, which was designed by Frank Lamberty and Julian Hoenig. On September 30, 2006, the R8 road car was presented to the public for the first time at the Paris Auto Show. Due to the fact that this vehicle has the same name as the R8 Le Mans Prototype that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, there was some confusion regarding which vehicle was being referred to (LMP). Both the R8 4.2 FSI coupé (with a V8 engine) and the R8 5.2 FSI coupé were among the first models available (with a V10 engine). Convertible models, which the manufacturer referred to as the Spyder, were released in 2008, and the high-performance GT model was released in 2011. In the years that followed, beginning in 2008, Audi released several different Motorsport versions of the R8. The all-electric version, known as the e-Tron, had its development work started, but it wouldn’t enter production until the second generation model was released.

In 2012, the automobile underwent a makeover, and the following year saw the introduction of a brand-new model called the V10 Plus. In August of 2015, production of the Type 42 came to an end.
