About Volkswagen Jetta

The Volkswagen Jetta (listen (helpinfo)) is a compact car/small family car that Volkswagen has manufactured and marketed since 1979. It has been marketed as the Atlantic, Vento, Bora, City Jetta, Jetta City, GLI, Jetta, Clasico, and Sagitar over seven generations, filling a sedan niche above the firm’s Golf hatchback (in China).

The Jetta has been available in two- and four-door saloon / sedan and five-door wagon / estate body styles, all with four or five seats. The car has grown in size and power with each generation since its debut in 1980. By mid-2011, nearly 10 million Jettas had been produced and sold worldwide. Volkswagen sold over 14 million units as of April 2014, making it the company’s best-selling model. (Source: Wiki)
