Oil Reset Procedure for Toyota Sienna 2005-2015

 

 

Simple to follow oil reset procedure for Toyota Sienna for the year 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

 

 

 

Oil Reset Procedure for Toyota Sienna for the year 2005 through 2006

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.

2. Make sure odometer is displayed and turn ignition off.

3. Press and hold trip meter reset knob and turn ignition to the “RUN” position.

4. Hold knob for at least 5 seconds until “000000” is displayed and light turns off.

5. Turn ignition off.

Oil Reset Procedure for Toyota Sienna for the year 2007 through 2010

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.

2. Make sure odometer is displayed and turn ignition off.

3. Press and hold trip meter reset knob and turn ignition to the “RUN” position.

4. Hold knob for at least 5 seconds until “000000” is displayed and light turns off.

5. Turn ignition off.

Oil Reset Procedure for Toyota Sienna for the year 2011 through 2012

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position (press the “ENGINE START STOP” button once).

2. Make sure odometer is displayed and turn ignition off.

3. Press and hold trip meter reset knob and turn ignition to the “RUN” position (press the “ENGINE START STOP” button once).

4. Hold knob for at least 5 seconds until “000000” is displayed and light turns off or “COMPLETE” is displayed on multi information display vehicles.

5. Turn ignition off.

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position (press the “ENGINE START STOP” button once).

2. Make sure odometer is displayed and turn ignition off.

3. Press and hold trip meter reset knob and turn ignition to the “RUN” position (press the “ENGINE START STOP” button once).

4. Hold knob for at least 5 seconds until “000000” is displayed and light turns off or “COMPLETE” is displayed on multi information display vehicles.

5. Turn ignition off.

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position (press the “ENGINE START STOP” button once).

2. Make sure odometer is displayed and turn ignition off.

3. Press and hold trip meter reset knob and turn ignition to the “RUN” position (press the “ENGINE START STOP” button once).

3. Hold knob for at least 5 seconds until “000000” is displayed and light turns off.

4. Turn ignition off.

With multi-information display:

1. With engine running, switch display to the “SETTINGS” screen.

2. Select “MAINTENANCE RESET”, and then “YES”, “MAINTENANCE RESET COMPLETE” will be displayed.

3. Turn ignition off.

About Toyota Sienna

The Toyota Sienna is a minivan manufactured and marketed primarily in North America by Toyota. It is named after the Italian city of Siena, which is located in the Tuscany region. In 1997, it replaced the first-generation Previa van with a more conventional front-wheel drive layout, and it shares a heavily revised platform with the Camry. Both the Previa and the original Sienna were smaller than the other minivans in their class, but a redesign in 2003 (for the 2004 model year) increased the dimensions to compete.

It was redesigned once more in 2010. (for the 2011 model year). The third generation Sienna went on sale in the United States in February 2010 and is the first Sienna to receive the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s “Top Safety Pick” award. The Sienna was redesigned in 2020 (for the 2021 model year) and became a hybrid vehicle for its fourth generation. While previous generations of the Sienna were exported to Asian and European markets, the fourth generation is the first to be manufactured outside of the United States, with Chinese production beginning in July 2021 by two Toyota joint ventures.
