About Pontiac Grand Am

Pontiac produced the Grand Am, a mid-size car that later became a compact car. The Grand Am ran for three years in the 1970s, first from 1973 to 1975 and then again from 1978 to 1980. It was built on the General Motors A platform. The intermediate-sized Grand Am was discontinued in 1980, and was replaced by the Pontiac 6000. The Grand Am compact was reintroduced in 1985, replacing the Pontiac Phoenix. It was Pontiac’s best-selling vehicle and was later replaced by the Pontiac G6, so named because it was intended to be the Grand Am’s sixth generation.(Source: Wiki)
