Oil Reset Procedure for Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG for the year 2008 through 2009

1. ALL DOORS, WINDOWS, HOOD, AND TRUNK MUST BE CLOSED DURING RESET.

2. Turn ignition to “POSITION 1”.

3. Press and hold “PHONE” button and within 1 second, press “OK” and hold both buttons for 5 seconds.

4. Shop menu will be displayed.

5. Press down arrow repeatedly until “ASSYST PLUS” is highlighted and press “OK”.

6. Press down arrow until “SERVICE PERFORMED” is highlighted and press “OK”.

7. Press down arrow until “DUE SERVICES” is highlighted and press “OK”.

8. Press down arrow until “COMPLETE SERVICE” is highlighted and press “OK”.

9. Press back button to exit menu.

10. Turn ignition off.

About Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG

The model is a CL 63 AMG with the code M137.980. The “63” badge was only used on the extremely limited production run of the 2001 CL 63 AMG. These were only made in limited quantities for a period of one month and were sold exclusively by AMG to a select group of customers located in Europe and Asia, who were allegedly Heads of State. There were only 26 examples of the CL 63 AMG built in November 2001 (plate 51), some of which were delivered in the United Kingdom and one of which was registered in France in March 2002. The CL 63 AMG was the most exclusive version of the C215 CL. The cost was 270 thousand dollars in US currency.
