Oil Reset Procedure for Chrysler Pacifica 2008-2022
Simple to follow oil reset procedure for Chrysler Pacifica for the year 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Chrysler Pacifica oil reset procedure for the year 2008
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position and immediately press and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 10 seconds.
2. Turn ignition off.
Or you can also try this procedure.
1. With the engine off, turn the ignition switch to the “On” position without starting the engine.
2. Within a 10 second interval, push the accelerator pedal all the way down slowly three times within 10 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the “LOC” position.
An alternate method is using the instrument cluster display.
1. With the engine off, turn the ignition switch to “On” without starting the engine.
2. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to select “OK“, then use the arrows to toggle the selection to “Vehicle Info“.
3. Scroll to where the “Oil Life” is selected.
4. Press and hold the “OK” button until the Oil Life is reset to 100%
Chrysler Pacifica oil reset procedure for the year 2021
1. Turn ignition to ON/RUN, with engine OFF.
2. On vehicles with keyless START, push the ENGINE START/STOP button without pressing the brake pedal.
3. Fully depress accelerator pedal slowly 3 times within 10 seconds.
4. Turn ignition to OFF/LOCK.
5. Start engine.
6. If indicator message illuminates when engine is started, repeat reset procedure.
OR
1. Turn ignition to ON/RUN, with engine OFF.
2. On vehicles with keyless START, push the ENGINE START/STOP button without pressing the brake pedal.
3. Push and release the DOWN arrow button (steering wheel) to scroll downward through the main menu to “Vehicle Info”.
4. Push and release the RIGHT arrow button to access the “Oil Life” screen.
5. Push and hold the OK button to reset of the Oil Life.
6. The display will update to show 100%.
7. Push and release the UP arrow button to exit the screen.
Chrysler Pacifica oil reset procedure for the year 2017-2022
WITH GAS PEDAL
1. Turn the ignition on by hitting the START button twice and waiting till the dash load up.
2. Step on the ACCELERATOR pedal three times within 10 seconds and the oil life will be reset at 100.
WITH CLUSTER MENU
1. Switch to the RUN position without starting the engine.
Make sure it’s on the RUN mode without the car running by hitting the START button two times.
2. Go to the VEHICLE INFO.
Move to this side of the steering wheel and you’re going to be pushing either up or down and what you’re going to be doing is scrolling through the menu to get to the section where it shows the VEHICLE INFO.
3. Find the OIL LIFE.
Now here it shows you the oil life but if you don’t see it you can scroll left or right to have it on the vehicle information showing OIL LIFE.
4. Press and hold the OK button.
To reset it you just gonna hold the OK button down for a few seconds till it changes to 100% and you’re done.
About Chrysler Pacifica
Stellantis’s Chrysler division is responsible for manufacturing a minivan known as the Chrysler Pacifica. The Chrysler Town & Country was replaced by this model for the 2017 model year. It is unrelated to the crossover and concept vehicles with the same name that were discontinued. It is positioned as the higher-end Chrysler minivan, above the Dodge Grand Caravan until 2020 and above the Chrysler Voyager (rebadged as the Chrysler Grand Caravan in Canada) since 2020. Until 2020, the Chrysler Voyager was known as the Dodge Grand Caravan.
The powertrain options for the minivan include a gasoline-powered engine with a 3.6-liter displacement and a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. The plug-in hybrid version has a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 16 kWh, which allows it to travel up to 33 miles (53 kilometers) solely on electric power. Midway through 2016, sales of the gasoline-only version of the Pacifica minivan began, while the plug-in hybrid version did not become available until early the following year.
