About BMW 428i
The first generation of the BMW 4 Series is comprised of the compact executive cars known as the BMW F32 (coupé version), BMW F33 (convertible version), and BMW F36 (five-door liftback version, marketed as ‘Gran Coupé’). The F32, which can also refer to the F33 and F36 models, will be manufactured from 2014 until 2020 but is most commonly referred to as the F32.
The E92 and E93 coupe and convertible models of the fifth-generation BMW 3 Series range were succeeded by the F32, which was released as the successor to those models. The F30 3 Series is produced concurrently with the F32, and the two models share many of the same features. In the same vein as the F30 3 Series range, the F32/F33/F36 is powered by turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines that come in configurations with three cylinders (petrol only), four cylinders, and six cylinders respectively.
The high performance F82/F83 M4 models were introduced in early 2014.
They are powered by the S55 turbocharged straight-six engine.
The BMW 428i has a four-cylinder engine that is both fuel efficient and powerful, and this allows it to deliver exceptional driving dynamics on curvy roads while still maintaining respectable fuel economy for everyday use.
My face broke into a wide grin as the 2014 BMW 428i sped through a series of turns with its tires screeching in the process. This is exactly what I expect from BMW, what many other people have grown to love about the German automaker, and how BMW became synonymous with performance, I thought to myself.
The all-new 4 Series displayed impeccable equilibrium at the turn apexes, and when driven closer to its limits, the rear walked out in a nicely controlled slide, which was just enough to assist in rotating the vehicle through the corners. This is exactly the kind of driving I’ve been waiting for all my life.
If you haven’t been keeping up with the latest shifts and turns in the BMW model naming nomenclature, the fact that there is a BMW 428i may come as a complete and utter shock to you. The BMW 3 Series coupe was canceled in favor of the development of an entirely new series, which resulted in the production of this brand-new model. The new order in the world of BMW designates sedans as being part of the odd series, while all coupes are part of the even series. Is it possible that BMW is going to start copying some of Audi’s playbook strategies?
The new 4 Series is an extremely attractive automobile that is much more than just a coupe version of the 3 Series. A long nose that stretches out in front of the windshield is indicative of a good coupe style. This gives the impression that there is sufficient space for power under the hood. The front fenders feature a number of black vent openings that serve as the perfect accent. The back portion of the roofline slopes dramatically downward, which is a design element that can only be found on a coupe.
