About Nissan Rogue Select
For the 2014 model year, Nissan redesigned the Rogue. The redesigned Rogue shares no ratings with the previous design, which has been in production since the 2008 model year and has been renamed the Rogue Select for 2014-15. Beginning in 2014, the Rogue was named an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety).
The Select was a follow-up to the first-generation Rogue, which was sold alongside an all-new Rogue that debuted in 2013 as a 2014 model. Because the production capacity allowed the first generation to be built alongside the second generation, Rogue customers and fleet sales were able to benefit from a lower entry price. The Rogue Select was only available in S trim, with AWD as an option. It was introduced in January 2014 as a 2014 model year vehicle and was sold until 2015. Nissan then announced that 2015 would be the last year of production. In Canada, the Rogue Select was not available.
The Rogue Select, like the Rogue and the Nissan X-Trail, was built in Japan at the Nissan Motor Kyushu Plant in Kanda, Fukuoka. (Source: Wiki)
