Oil Reset Procedure for Nissan 350Z for the year 2006
1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
2. Select “OK” by pressing the “ENTER” button.
3. Press the “TRIP” button and choose “MAINTENANCE” then “ENGINE OIL” and press “ENTER” button.
4. Press “BACK” button to back out of menu.
5. Turn ignition off.
Oil Reset Procedure for Nissan 350Z for the year 2006 through 2008
1. Turn the ignition to run, one position before starting engine.
2. When you turn the ignition key run, the system start up warning is displayed on the screen.
3. Read the the warning and select the OK key by pressing the ENTER button.
4. When the TRIP button is pressed, the following modes will display on the screen, warning message (if any) TRIP1, TRIP 2, FUEL ECONOMY, MAINTENANCE, AUDIO OR OFF.
5. Select MAINTENANCE and then select the Engine Oil key using the joystick and press the ENTER button to display the screen to change the maintenance interval, RESET.
6. To return to the previous display after the MAINTENANCE NOTICE screen is displayed, press the BACK button.
7. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
2. Select “OK” by pressing the “ENTER” button.
3. Press the “TRIP” button and choose “MAINTENANCE” then “ENGINE OIL” and press “ENTER” button.
4. Press “BACK” button to back out of menu.
5. Turn ignition off.

1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position (press “START/STOP” button once).
2. Press the square button to display the “SETTINGS” mode.
3. Press the circle button to move to “MAINTENANCE”.
4. Press the circle button to highlight “ENGINE OIL” and then press square button.
5. Reset mode will open and you can enter the desired distance.
6. Select “RESET” and select new time or distance.
7. Repeat for “ENGINE OIL FILTER”.
8. Turn ignition off.

1. Turn the ignition to run, push START/STOP button once.
2. Press the (square) button, located on the instrument panel just behind the steering wheel to the left, to display the SETTINGS mode.
3. In the setting mode screen press (circle) button to move to MAINTENANCE.
4. Set a desired interval by pushing (circle) button to highlight ENGINE OIL and pressing (square) button.
5. The reset mode will open up and allow you to enter the desired distance.
6. Select RESET and select new time or distance.
7. Repeat step 3 for ENGINE OIL FILTER.
8. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

About Nissan 350Z
The 350Z received a mid-cycle facelift for the 2006 model year. The VQ35DE 300HP/260TQ ‘Rev-up’ engine, which debuted in mid-2005 on the Track and 35th Anniversary Edition with 6-speed manual transmission models, was available on all trim levels with a manual transmission option. The VQ35DE, with 287 bhp (291 PS; 214 kW) and 274 lbft (371 Nm) of torque, was still available only with the 5-speed automatic transmission.
