1. ALL DOORS, WINDOWS, HOOD, AND TRUNK MUST BE CLOSED DURING RESET.
2. Turn ignition to “POSITION 1”.
3. Press the down button repeatedly to bring up the kilometer/mileage display.
4. Press the left arrow button repeatedly until “TRIP” is displayed.
5. Press and hold the phone button and then within 1 second, press and hold the “OK” button.
6. Hold both for 5 seconds until “VEHICLE DATA, DYNAMOMETER TEST, CHANGE BRAKE LINING AND ASSYST PLUS” is displayed.
7. Select “ASSYST PLUS” and push “OK” button.
8. Select “FULL SERVICE” and push “OK” button.
9. Select “CONFIRM SERV” and push “OK” button.
10. Select “OIL QUAL. 229.3” or “OIL QUAL. 229.5” and push “OK” button.
11. Select “YES” and push “OK” button.
12. Select “CONFIRMATION” and push “OK” button, “FULL SERVICE CARRIED OUT” will be displayed.
13. Press “OK” button and then press the “BACK” button repeatedly to exit the menu.
14. Turn ignition off.
About Mercedes-Benz CLS550 4-Matic
Stop-start technology, which helps reduce fuel consumption and is standard on all Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class sedans for 2014, is now standard on the CLS63 AMG, which also receives 4Matic all-wheel drive as standard equipment. The base model of the CLS63 also receives an increase in horsepower, bringing it up to 550, while the previous AMG Performance package has been replaced by a new S-Model version that produces 577 horsepower and has a higher top speed.
There are three different options for twin-turbocharged engines that can be found in the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class. The standard powertrain in the CLS550 is a V8 with 402 horsepower. The base model of the CLS63 AMG is equipped with a V8 that produces 550 horsepower, while the CLS63 AMG S-Model shares a version of this engine that produces 577 horsepower. Each one is equipped with an automatic transmission that has seven different gears. Drivetrain options for the CLS550 include rear-wheel drive as standard and all-wheel drive as an option. All-wheel drive from Mercedes-Benz, known as 4Matic, comes standard on both AMG models.
The CLS63 AMG is equipped with a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that generates 550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque. The vehicle’s standard all-wheel drive system is controlled by a specialized seven-speed automatic transmission that distributes power to all four wheels. If that isn’t impressive enough for you, the CLS63 AMG S-Model has the ability to generate a massive 577 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. This is made possible by a slight increase in the turbo boost pressure and updated software for the engine. The combined fuel economy for both trim levels of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG is estimated to be 19 miles per gallon, with 16 in the city and 25 on the highway.
No matter which engine you choose, you can rest assured that any CLS model will get up to speed quickly and provide ample power to pass other vehicles on the highway. The lightning-fast and faultless shifts provided by the transmission are partially responsible for earning that praise. The Mercedes-Benz CLS550 can reach 60 miles per hour in just 5.1 seconds, while the AMG models can do it in less than 4 seconds. Fuel economy for the CLS550 ranges from 17 mpg in the city to 25 mpg on the highway, while fuel economy for the AMG models ranges from 16 to 22 mpg in the city and highway respectively, which is on par with the standards for the class.
