About Mercedes-Benz C320 4-Matic

The Mercedes C320 4Matic Wagon is in what position now, exactly? To put it simply, in good standing. As you can see, the interior is roomier than that of the BMW 3 Series wagon, and it also has more cargo space than that of the Volkswagen Passat wagon, as well as more than the Audi A4 Avant. In addition, the C320 wagon is (shh!) a blast to drive, reaching 60 miles per hour in only seven seconds, and like the competition, it can be had with all-wheel drive (4Matic in Mercedes-speak), which provides additional cornering grip particularly in adverse weather conditions.

When the C-Class underwent its most recent and extensive redesign a few years ago, we were of the opinion that the company made a mistake by using low-quality plastics for the knobs and dials, as well as wood veneers that appeared less luxurious than was appropriate for a Benz. (By the way, the “wood” in virtually all luxury vehicles is real; however, it is a veneer that has been coated in plastic to protect it.)

However, Mercedes has made sure to make amends with their most recent C320 model, and the overall quality of the materials has improved to where it should be. Additionally, the list of standard features is quite impressive in its own right. All models of the C come standard with dual front airbags, side curtain airbags, stability and traction control, as well as anti-lock brakes (ABS). BabySmart, a system that senses the weight of the passenger in the right front passenger seat, is also standard; the airbag will not deploy if the passenger’s weight is less than 25 pounds. (In addition, Mercedes provides its customers with a unique safety tag that can be attached to child safety seats; when this tag is in place, the airbag will not deploy.) And naturally, Mercedes also suggests that parents seat children of any age in the second row; however, the manufacturer is aware that this isn’t always an option for families.
