Oil Reset Procedure for BMW 750Li 2006-2015
Easy to follow oil reset procedure for BMW 750Li for the year 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
BMW 750Li oil reset procedure for the year 2006 through 2008.
1. Turn ignition to Terminal 15, which is one turn of the key or one press of the START/STOP button.
2. Press and hold the SET/RESET button on the instrument cluster for 10 seconds. The upper display will be illuminated with a service item. The lower display will indicate the remaining time or mileage left for the service item.
3. Pressing the button repeatedly will allow the display to scroll through all of the condition based service items.
4. Press and hold the SET/RESET button again and the lower display will indicate “OK” or “DUE”.
5. Pressing the SET/RESET button again will allow the “RESET” to appear in the lower display for that service.
6. Releasing and reapplying the button one more time will reset the service displayed in the upper window only.

3. Press the SET/ RESET button repeatedly to scroll the service menu. With the oil change interval highlighted, press and hold the SET/RESET button.
4. When “RESET” appears, release the SET/RESET button and press and hold again.
5. Reset complete when “OK” and new mileage appears.
6. Turn ignition off.

About BMW 750Li
The turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine in the 2015 BMW 740i and 740Li produces 315 horsepower. The new 740Ld is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbodiesel engine producing 255 horsepower. The ActiveHybrid 7 is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine and an electric motor, which together produce 350 horsepower. The 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine in the BMW 750i and 750Li produces 445 horsepower. The 760Li is powered by a 535-horsepower twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12. The automatic transmission is standard on all 7-Series models. The 740i gets 19/29 mpg city/highway, which is respectable for the class. The ActiveHybrid7 gets 22/30, which is good for the class, and the 740Ld gets 23/31, which is good for a super luxury car but not as good as the fuel economy of the diesel-powered Audi A8 L TDI.
