Oil Reset Procedure for Acura ZDX 2010 to 2013
Easy to follow procedure for Acura ZDX oil reset for the year, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
From the year 2010 to 2013
- Turn ignition to “II” position.
- Press the “SEL/RESET” button repeatedly until engine oil life is displayed.
- Press and hold “SEL/RESET” button for more than 10 seconds, remaining oil life mode will be displayed.
- Press the “INFO” button to select “RESET”, then press the “SEL/RESET” button to reset oil life display. Maintenance item codes will disappear, and engine oil life will reset to 100.
- Turn ignition off.

From the year 2010 – 2013
- Turn the ignition key to the ON position without starting the engine
If your car has a Smart key button, press the “Start” button twice without touching the brake pedal. - Press the SEL/RESET button repeatedly until REMAINING OIL LIFE displayed.
The button is located on the steering wheel - Press the SEL/RESET button for more than 10 seconds
The oil life reset mode will appears on the screen - Select RESET by using the INFO (▲/▼) button, then press the SEL/RESET button.
The maintenance items will disappear, and the engine oil life displays back to 100% - Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset
And you are done.

The announced model features a 3,664 cc (3.664 L; 223.6 cu in) SOHC VTEC V6 all-aluminum engine rated at 300 bhp (220 kW) at 6300 rpm and 270 lbft (366 Nm) at 4500 rpm, 6-speed automatic transmission, Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), 19-inch, 7-spoke alloy wheels, panoramic glass roof with movable Sales began in the winter of 2009.
The Technology Package includes a voice-activated Navigation System, an Acura/ELS Surround premium audio system, and a new multi-view rear camera. In a last-ditch effort, Acura sold the ZDX in only one trim level in 2013. As a direct consequence of this, the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is now $51,815 lower than the advance model from the previous year.
