At the 2019 New York Auto Show, the CT5 made its first public appearance. The 3.0-liter LGY twin turbocharged V6 that powers the CT5-V generates 360 horsepower (268 kW; 365 PS) at 5400 revolutions per minute (rpm), and it generates 405 pound-feet (549 Newton-meters; 56 kilogram-meters) of torque at 2350-4000 rpm. In the United States, the base price for the year 2020 was listed at $47,695 for this model. Starting with the 2020 model year, the CT5-V was equipped with MagneRide, which is GM’s Magnetic Ride Control.
