About Cadillac CT5
The CT5 made its public debut at the 2019 New York Auto Show. Unlike its predecessor, the CTS, and the flagship CT6, the CT5’s fastback body style is inspired by late 1940s Cadillac fastback models. The CT5 was released in the fall of 2019 and comes in four trim levels. (Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, and V).
The 2.0-liter LSY turbocharged I4 in the base CT5 produces 237 hp (177 kW; 240 PS) at 5000 rpm and 258 lbft (350 Nm; 36 kgm) of torque at 1500-4000 rpm. The CT5 also has an optional 3.0-liter LGY twin turbocharged V6 engine that produces 335 hp (250 kW; 340 PS) and 405 lbft (549 Nm; 56 kgm) of torque in the standard CT5 or 360 hp (268 kW; 365 PS) at 5400 rpm and 405 lbft (549 Nm; 56 kgm) of torque at 2350-4000 rpm in the CT5-V. The only available transmission is a 10-speed automatic. Cadillac began offering its semi-autonomous driving system, Super Cruise, as an optional feature in 2021.
