1. Press the start/stop button once (do not start the engine).
2. Press and hold the SET/RESET button until the service indicator light appears.
3. Press the SET/ RESET button repeatedly to scroll the service menu.
4. With the oil change interval highlighted, press and hold the SET/RESET button.
5. When “RESET” appears, release the SET/RESET button and press and hold again.
6. Reset complete when “OK” and new mileage appears.
7. Turn ignition off.

If you are in the market for a vehicle that offers a little bit more pep, the X4 M40i is the model that you should be looking at. A potent turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that generates 382 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque is standard equipment for this model. The BMW X4 M40i is capable of reaching 60 miles per hour from a standstill in just 4.2 seconds, as determined by the outcomes of our acceleration tests on the racetrack; additionally, the sound of its engine is just as impressive as its acceleration. Launch control is included as a standard feature in the product. The SE and the SEL both include, as standard equipment, an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends the torque produced by the engine to all four corners of the vehicle.
The EPA estimates that the X4 xDrive30i gets 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, but in our tests, we got 33 mpg on the highway. The X4 M40i has an estimated EPA fuel economy of 21 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. During our time with that model, we were able to achieve real-world highway fuel economy of 28 mpg.
