About Land Rover Range Rover Evoque

It is modeled after the Evoque Coupé but has three doors instead of two, along with four seats, a power retractable soft top roof, and 20-inch wheels. The hatchback on the Evoque has been replaced with a tailgate that can be dropped down. According to a statement made by Land Rover, “The new convertible body was achieved with minimal changes to weight and torsional rigidity.” Additionally, Land Rover has confirmed that the Evoque Convertible Concept is just as capable off-road as the standard Evoque. At the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the automobile was presented to the public for the first time. After making its debut in 2012 as the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept, the production version of the vehicle was not shown to the public until November of 2015, and model year production began in 2017.

Gerry McGovern, head of design for Land Rover, is quoted as saying, “It’s the first luxury SUV convertible. There have been other convertible SUVs in the past, but none that were executed in a luxury manner. We will accept customers who have previously purchased other luxury cars. The majority of Evoque purchasers were customers of premium brands who had never before purchased an SUV.

Land Rover was awarded a grant of 27 million British pounds by the British government on March 11, 2009, for the purpose of producing an entirely new model. The grant came with the stipulation that the Evoque would have to be manufactured at the Jaguar Land Rover Halewood assembly facility in Liverpool.

At the Halewood manufacturing plant in Liverpool, where Land Rover vehicles are assembled, production of the Evoque began on July 4, 2011, with the first customer deliveries taking place in September.
