About Cadillac XT5

General Motors’ Cadillac XT5 (short for Crossover Touring 5) is a compact luxury D-segment crossover SUV. In November 2015, it was unveiled at both the Dubai Motor Show and the Los Angeles Auto Show. When it was introduced in spring 2016, the Cadillac XT5 replaced the SRX crossover. It is the second model (after the CT6) to use Cadillac’s new alphanumeric naming scheme, and the first in the Crossover Touring (XT) series. The XT5 is built at GM’s Spring Hill Manufacturing facility. SAIC-GM manufactures the XT5 for the Chinese market in Shanghai.

The XT5 includes technology such as a streaming video rear-view mirror, a 360° view backup camera, and GM’s Electronic Precision Shift, which replaces the standard hydraulic shifter with an electronic controller.
